Lafarge Kanthan in the haze

Lafarge Malaysia Berhad is quarrying Gunung Kanthan in Perak. Rumours were flying around in April 2013 that by 1 June they would be quarrying the part of the hill where Gua Kanthan is located. At the end of June I went to have a look.

The southern part of Malaysia was suffering from really bad haze, the worst for 16 years in some places. Luckily Ipoh wasn't so bad, though it was bad enough to give really poor photos.
